De FabTafel van 6 april vindt plaats bij de Fab Lab Truck in Weesp. De Fab Lab Truck rijdt inmiddels al bijna een jaar door Nederland en Duitsland, dus hoog tijd om daar eens een kijkje te nemen!
Het programma is als volgt: 15:00 – 16:00 Ronde tafel bespreking van onderwerpen die aanwezigen inbrengen en aankondigingen vanuit de stichting. 16:00 – 18:00 Informele gesprekken onder het genot van een drankje en nootjes.
De locatie is Bloemendalerweg 51-C4, 1383 KB Weesp

De volgende FabTafels, na 6 april zijn op 18 mei, 29 juni, 10 augustus, 21 september, 2 november, 14 december 2011. Telkens vanaf 15:00 uur. FabTafels gaan altijd door, ongeacht het aantal deelnemers.

The next FabTable is taking place on April 6th at the Fab Lab Truck in Weesp. The Fab Lab Truck has been driving through the Netherlands and Germany for almost a year now, so it’s high time to go and take a look!

The next FabTables, after April 6th, will be on May 18th, June 29th, August 10th, September 21st, November 2nd, and December 14th 2011. They always start at 15:00 and always take place, regardless of who comes.
The FabLab Truck Is Rolling Again: Hamburg
If you think a FabLab is cool, then you probably think a mobile FabLab is doubly cool. It not only does what a FabLab does, but you can invite it to come to you.
That’s exactly what the people behind the Hamburg FabLab initiative have done. To demonstrate to interested people what a FabLab can be, they arranged for a visit of Jaap Vermaas’s FabLab Truck.
From August 4th until August 6th you can find the FabLab Truck parked in Hamburg, and you can take part in different workshops from 14:00-21:00.
They made a little video introducing both the truck and the FabLab.
The FabLab Truck comes with one Makerbot 3D printer, a laser cutter, a vinyl cutter, and the FabLab video conferencing system. A RepRap 3D printer and a CNC milling machine are still in the process of being built.
